October 01, 2005
My fiance asked me to marry him on October 5, 2004, and we decided the wedding would be held on October 1, 2005. I thought a year was plenty of time to plan everything and waited a month or two before I even began looking at wedding dresses. That turned out to be an unexpected headache, and it worsened with every decision I was faced with. I had assumed that between my mother and I, I would have no problem getting things ready, and it did not take long for that assumption to get thrown out the window. That's when I began to panic. A friend of ours recommended we use a wedding planner, and luckily he knew Sally Evans. We called, she was able to meet with us immediately, and that's all it took. It was the best decision I made!
Sally quickly and efficiently took control of things and eased my nerves. I was highly impressed at how organized and simple everything became. It wasn't long at all until she had met with us, assessed our wants and needs, discussed the kind of wedding we envisioned, and gave us a list of places to choose from that were perfectly suited to what we wanted. She did all the calling, all the footwork, and got immediate responses from whomever they contacted. She knew which establishments had the best reviews and could give me information that came directly from experience, for she had worked with most of them. The advice she was able to offer me was immeasurably helpful. All I had to do was sweat the small details and everything fell perfectly into place. My wedding was just as beautiful as I'd imagined, and I know without a doubt it would've been a mess had I not received help from Sally Evans.
