Best Wedding Ever!

March 9, 2009

The Reed - Porter wedding was a success! It was a lot of hard work but we all had so much fun. We even saw dolphins playing in the cove while setting up.

The bride and groom are originally from the West coast, now living in Columbia, SC. For their wedding, the couple wanted to treat their family and friends to a Southern affair. What better way to do that than in Charleston!

The rehearsal dinner and party were hosted at a bowling alley in Mt. Pleasant where guest enjoyed gourmet pizzas, red velvet cake, pitchers of beer, champagne and mini-bowling. The groomsmen all received bowling trophies that read “Best Wedding Ever!” Cool gifts, Jason!

The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the exquisite Club Creek at I’On, the perfect setting for romance and fun. Arnold Palmers and champagne with blueberries were served on the porch. Inside, shrimp & grits were served with a variety of other delicious Southern cuisine. Guests were entertained with dancing, skits and a photobooth. The night ended with the bride and groom running through a stream of sparklers before departing in an English taxi.

I’ve posted pictures that we took over the weekend. As soon as I receive the pictures from the photographer I will post them.

Thanks to Sally for planning and coordinating this magnificent event. We missed you this weekend. Thanks to David, Jim and Carolyn for their assistance and hard work. What fun we had! Thank you to Jason, E-C and their parents for allowing us to work with them. We are so glad you are a part of our lives now. We absolutely loved your wedding party, they were so much fun. And cooperative - a wedding planner’s dream!

We wish Jason & E-C all the best! Have fun in Disney World!!

Happy Planning!
Shannon
